Manufacturing World is an exhibition featuring mechanical components, motion technologies, DX (digital transformation) solutions, additive manufacturing, factory facilities, measuring instruments. Major visitors include design and development,  production engineering, purchasing and information systems divisions of the manufacturing industry. This is a great place to find ideas for R&D and production shortening, DX promotion, energy saving and factory automation.

It has been held in Tokyo for 34 years, Osaka for 26 years, Nagoya for 10 years, and Kyushu for the first time in 2023. It is one of the world's largest comprehensive manufacturing exhibitions, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from Japan and abroad each year.

One of the highlights is the co-located conferences where visitors can learn about the latest case studies and secret stories from top manufacturing executives. The exhibition consists of 11 specialised shows in each product category.

Osaka attracts visitors from the large business regions of western Japan, including Japan's second largest city, Osaka. This area is famous as the founding place of many major manufacturers in Japan.

Kyushu, where Fukuoka is located, is Japan's 4th largest economy. The region is known as Japan's Silicon Island, with a cluster of automobile and heavy industry and, in recent years, booming electronics industry.

Nagoya is an area famous for its automotive, heavy industry and machinery industry, where Toyota is located. It is also known as the area with the largest number of factories in Japan.
